We have recently started marketing B and D Saaz under the names of:

Motueka (formally B Saaz)

Riwaka (formally D Saaz)

This decision was taken to assist us marketing these varieties outside of New Zealand, especially in the rapidly expanding craft markets of the USA, Europe and the UK. It is believed that New Zealand Hops identity is mature enough internationally to give these brands a name that is matched to their unique location and characteristics. This will afford brewers an opportunity to enhance their branding proposition and point of difference. We believe both Motueka and Riwaka will enhance the International craft market.
