The innovative brewers of the Czech town of Pilsen developed bright malty beers with enormous hop characters during the late 1800's.
These bright copper-gold lagers were built upon a robust malty base and the use of plenty of top quality hops.
Typically exhibiting a moderate alcohol content, this style makes a superb festival beer with refreshing highlights that keep on tasting great.
Possibly the world's most "copied" beer style, the truest of Pilsener-style beers retain a rich malty character and dominant hoppiness.
North America's brewers have always admired this style and this is a fine example of a festive pilsener beer. 1042 1042
